Global frameworks for regenerative agriculture still need local context, says SAI
The Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) highlights the need for localized frameworks in regenerative agriculture, which currently lacks a unified definition and standards. This ambiguity hinders the effective implementation of regenerative practices across the global agricultural industry. To tackle this, SAI has developed the Regenerating Together program, which aims to adapt global standards to local contexts, and is set to expand following a successful pilot phase involving major corporations like Nestlé and McCain.
