X agrees to crack down on illegal hate and terror content in the UK

X has committed to enhancing its measures against illegal hate and terror content in the UK, following an agreement with the British online safety regulator Ofcom. The platform will restrict access to accounts linked to UK terror groups and aims to review at least 85% of reported content within 48 hours. Additionally, X will collaborate with experts on reporting systems and provide quarterly performance data to Ofcom over the next year.
