Weather-monitoring firm hangs dark cloud over customers’ heads by forcing new app

AcuRite, a weather-monitoring company, is mandating that all device owners transition to its new AcuRite Now app by May 30, leading to dissatisfaction among long-time customers. Previously, users could control their devices with the older My AcuRite app, but it will soon be discontinued, leaving AcuRite Now as the sole option for managing their weather devices.
